Update 10-04-06 Update 10-04-06 Travis here, I know it has been awhile but i will do the best I can to get everyone updated. Jon graduated from MTSU recently. He has recorded a few new Kringe and solo songs. I will get them up in the audio section asap. I will also try and fix some of the old songs. Chris Simpson has come back and played bass on some of the new songs. Right now Jeremy is on the Appalachian Trail he has been goon for around 4 months and expects to be done in Dec 06. https://coppermine.chowned.net/thumbnails.php?album=66 There is a link to his pics from the trail. I am going to try and keep up with the site and get as much new stuff on here as possible.

September 21, 2001 - Kringe's debut album entitled, "What Resists, Persists...", is now complete. Sound clips from the CD are now available on our Audio page. We would like to thank everyone who supported us throughout the recording of this album. Rather than take a conventional, label-funded approach to this project, we decided to fund our own private studio, and record in our hometown. Because of this, we had an incredible amount of fun recording, and I felt more comfortable playing and singing emotionally, than if I had been in a "by-the-hour" studio. We've had family, friends, breakups, and makeups visit our studio, which I think makes "What Resists, Persists..." a down-to-earth album about living in general. This CD represents our lives, in 54 minutes and 42 seconds. Once again, I'd like to thank all of our fans, locally and nationally, that patiently supported us. All of the emails I received never failed to put a smile on my face coming home everyday after a session. To everyone in the 'hood, sorry for always being the "evil producer" (SHUT UP ALREADY!! WE'RE ROLLIN'!). You know it was all good. We will be playing a great many shows in Atlanta and Athens to kick off the release of the album, and I hope to see you all there. You'll be able to buy copies at shows, or email us and we'll ship one out. Exact pricing will be known soon. I've gotta run and do promotional photos now, See ya!

September 11, 2001 - Kringe would like to honor the lives of the innocent citizens who were killed in the tragic and cowardly attack on our country today.

Hardrock
December 4, 2001 - Kringe won the first round in the Garageband Records and Samuel Adams Hard Rock Battle of the Bands!! Thanks SO much to all of you who came out and voted. We have moved on to the finals held at the Hard Rock Cafe in Atlanta on Dec. 20th, 2001. Please come out and support us! The winner will receive a tour of all the Hard Rocks and a shot at a record contract with Garageband Records! Help Kringe land a record deal so even more people can experience our music! BTW: We were played during the Stage96 (9pm to 10pm) local music show last Sunday on 96 Rock because of YOUR VOTES! Listen every Sunday and request Kringe (404-741-9696). It's all about you guys. You're the ones that count. Once again, THANKS FOR ALL YOUR VOTES!! We'll see you the 20th.
